Projects can be added in the browser or the Creative Suite panel. (Note: If you are using TimeTracker Teams or Enterprise, you may be restricted from creating new projects.)
In the browser, the “Projects” panel on the right-hand side will reveal your visible projects. To add (or unhide) a project, simply click on the gear icon. You will see a panel that lists your projects. From here, you can Hide/Unhide, Edit and Remove projects in your list.
If you have permission to add projects, you will see an "Add Projects" button. For individual users, Clicking on this button will reveal a panel to enter a new project name, Job ID, budget in hours and desired color for the TimeTracker activities related to this new project.
Adding projects within a Teams or Enterprise account is different. A TimeTracker Coordinator must create new projects in the Administration section. Once created, these new projects will be instantly available for users. Individual users can include new projects in their list by clicking on the gear in the Projects panel. If the Teams/Enterprise user has permission to add projects, there will be an "Add Projects" button. Clicking on this button will reveal a panel to search and select projects. Double-clicking on a project will add it to the user's personal list of projects.
Note: After adding a new project, you may need to Refresh Projects in any of the TimeTracker applications that may be open, such as Adobe Photoshop, to immediately see newly-added projects.
If you have permission to add projects via the Adobe extension: In the Adobe Creative Suite TimeTracker extension, click on the small arrow in the upper right corner (circled in red) to access the TimeTracker pull down menu. Select New Project. Enter a project name (default is 'unnamed project'), a job ID, a color, and a budget in hours. The budget represents your personal budget on the project and will be used to calculate percentage completed.
After entering the details for your new project, hit Save to record the new information. After hitting "Save," the newly-created project will be included in the alphabetical Projects list.
